      • What is the proper method for seeing if there is any air in my coolant system? Some of you guys are saying your making the heat issues better by bleeding the system. Not exactly sure how to do it so if you could walk me through it that would be great. Thanks.
      • It fits into your fill port then you hook air to it till it pulls a vaccume down to around 30 inchs, Once its stabililzed you turn valve to hold...remove vaccume hose than put a siphon hose into a bucket of coolant. Flip valve other direction and it reverses pulling in coolant into every pocket. NEVER have a air locked system again.
    • Place the snowmobile in its normal position and loosen the bleed screw at the top of the water outlet manifold until trapped air has been purged. Tighten the bleed screw. Turn off the machine and release parking brake. Allow the system to cool completely. Re-check the coolant level after the cap hasbeenremovedandaddcoolanttofilllineifnecessary.

      • Dec 30, 2018 · Try bleeding the cooling system 1st. Raise the front end of the sled in the air about a foot or a bit more. It helps get the coolant through the tunnel coolers easier/quicker. Make sure your coolant is at the proper cold mark when starting it up. As it gets up to temperature, use the bleed screw on top of the Thermostat housing to get the air out.
